Indigo is "true blue"! Indigo builds on itself with successive dips in the dye bath. Giving shades from deep cobalt to baby blue this ancient dye is magical. When first pulled from the vat, fabrics appear green/yellow, but turn blue upon contact with air. The synthetic indigo gives the same beautiful blue as the natural.

You are purchasing 2 ounces of Earth Hues synthetic indigo which is enough to dye several yards of fabric. Each purchase comes with instructions. Thiourea dioxide and soda Ash are the two assists needed for this dye bath and can also be purchased from this Etsy store.
