"Strawberry" Original ACEO Colored Pencil Painting ✎

An original signed, 2.5-inch x 3.5-inch ACEO-sized colored pencil painting on prepped canvas, produced in my Pennsylvania Studio. This is not a print. It is created with artist-grade, lightfast, watercolor pencils and colored pencils on cotton canvas and sealed with a fixative.

Your ACEO painting will arrive with a certificate of authenticity that includes the title, date finished, number (if a limited print) and signature in a protective plastic sleeve.

This item will be shipped to you, for free, in a regular-sized envelope via USPS Priority Mail in a flat, protective mailer.

I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I have enjoyed creating it. Thank you!

ACEO is the acronym for "Art Card Editions and Originals" and are tiny, collectible works of art that are in a trading card size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
If you are displaying your work, ACEO's can be displayed as any other type of artwork. They can also be displayed on tiny easels made for this purpose or framed by surrounding with a larger mat. If you are not displaying them, they can be stored in a binder designed for trading cards.
I use a variety of lightfast colored pencils. These include Caran d'Ache Luminance and Pablos, Faber Castell Polychromos, Derwent Coloursoft and Prismacolor. Watercolor pencils include Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelle and NeoColors, Derwent Inktense. Pastel pencils that I use are Stabilo CarbOthello and Faber Castell Pitt.

I sometimes will use Daniel Smith or Winsor & Newton Watercolor paints or PanPastels.

I work mostly on cotton canvas but also enjoy quality, archival papers such as Stonehedge, Strathmore Bristols, Fabriano, Arches, Pastelmat, Crescent Suede Matboard or Grafix Drafting Film.
I take the first steps in preserving the artwork by using quality lightfast, archival products and sealing the artwork when completed with a fixative.

Once the ACEO reaches your home, ways for you to protect it include:
✎ Keep out of direct sunlight.
✎ Keep away from direct heat or damp areas.
✎ Store in the protective sleeve the ACEO was shipped in or behind glass to prevent dust and other elements from damaging it.
