This is a stainless steel bin with a lid encased in pine wood to create the perfect sized countertop compost bin. Throw all of your compostable items in here and feed to the chickens or use in outdoor gardens. ( fruits and veggies that have gone bad, scraps from them, egg shells... The stainless insert is removable for easy washing. Choose a stain color of your of your choice. Medium oak pictured, unfinished is white pine.

Other woods are available upon request, they cost a little more, but we also have oak, cedar, maple.

It is attractive and serves my purposes, it's just a little wobbly and I had to push the corners together (nails coming out).

This was the cheapest indoor compost bin I could find on Etsy that had this look, so seller, thank you for that. The design is simple. I already have gotten a compliment on it. The alignment was all off when I first opened the package, but with a few little bangs against the counter, it was aligned properly (probably a shipping issue). The stainless steel is easy to clean. I had a clear plastic container before this; I’m so glad I don’t have to look at all the nasty compost anymore with this beautiful piece.
