A pair of 6" stained wood hair sticks with super-light, super-fun dangles made from filigreed butterflies and Tibetan silver keys, attached to eye screws that've been cemented in with industrial-strength epoxy. (These things are in there for the long haul!)

Antiqued tones and keys make these a perfect addition to a Victorian or Steampunk outfit.

These particular sticks seem to work best for people with thin or fine hair, as they're not really long enough to hold really long, really heavy hair as well as the thinner sticks. The way their skinny little ends taper to wider sticks means that their going into a bun of thin or fine hair will tighten it up and thus make it hold more sturdily. (Plus people who frequently break hair sticks are more likely to do a number on these ones' ends.) If you have thicker or really long hair and would like me to switch these sticks out with a different type, just let me know.

That being said--if you go with the cheater method and wrap your bun in hair elastic before putting these in, they'll stay put anyway!

Questions? Want another set, or matching earrings? Convo me, and I'll get them together. Tape measure and bottle are for scale & display and are not included.
