Description

This is a beautiful old leather Fire Officer's (Fire Fighter's) Helmet which I believe originates from Germany in mid to late 19th century.

Constructed from leather, metal and brass it is intact and complete (as far as I can tell) but could do with some loving care to bring it back to pristine condition, including having the stitching / lacing replaced around the brim. The original leather interior is present but worn, the leather chins strap is present but broken, however the two charming lions head attaching points for the chin strap are fully intact.

Approximate dimensions 190mm wide x 260mm long x 170mm high.

I describe all items to the best of my knowledge and ability. Any mistakes are entirely unintentional and I will accept returns for any reason within 10 days of receiving your order. If you wish to return an item to me, please contact me first. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase please contact me before leaving any feedback- I will always work to resolve any issues.

Will be sent via a signature required delivery method

Please check photographs which are always of the actual item offered and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

This beautiful light was shipped really quickly, beautifully packed and with great paperwork and certificate of electrical testing. And it gives a lovely orange glow! Very happy to recommend Silly Goat Creations for all things original and imaginative!
