Felt Alphabet Book patterns, animals and objects (combined and expanded)
Digital file type(s): 2 ZIP, 1 PDF
I started making felt alphabet books back in 2008 when I was pregnant with my first child and going through a serious nesting phase. :-) I did another book for my second child, and made some as gifts. My kids loved them, and with the encouragement of friends and family, these were the first patterns I ever offered for sale! Over the years I expanded the number of options for each letter of the alphabet and sold the patterns in three sets: one for animal patterns, one for object patterns, and an expansion set of extra letters. Now, I've decided to offer all three sets (74 patterns!) in one combined, expanded Etsy product, and I've made it less expensive than it's ever been before. The patterns also include instructions for assembly, embellishment, and binding.
These felt alphabet books are fun to make, fun for kids to play with, and they work great as "quiet books" for kids to use in church, or on planes, or in other situations when they need to be entertained without making a lot of noise!
Q: How much experience do I need for this project?
A: These patterns are suitable for beginners and experts alike. Beginners can follow the basic patterns and instructions, while crafters who have more experience can add embellishments and personalizations.
Q: Do I need a sewing machine?
A: Everything in this project can be done by hand, so no sewing machine is needed.

This pattern was the first thing I bought after my husband and I settled on the names for our twins! It’s such a sweet book pattern and for the price you get so many options for each letter. Absolutely worth the money and would recommend to any pregnant ladies trying to pass the time until their babies arrive!
I’m having so much fun making this quiet book! The patterns for each letter —3 choices— are adorable and very easy. I’m not an experienced seamstress by any means, but I can definitely do these pages. And one can add details, choose color schemes, etc Im so happy I found this book. And, it’s a bargain, too. Kaitlyn, the creator and seller, is very helpful .
Absolutely adorable patterns, do wish the instructions were just a little more detailed, but so, so cute!
