Description

Vintage Uncut Sewing Pattern - McCalls 8445 Girls' dress (Laura Ashley)
Copyright: 1983
Suggested Fabrics: Cotton, cotton blends, gauze, batiste, chambray, challis, oxford cloth, crepe de Chine, lighweight denim, damask.

I salvage sewing patterns of all types and from all decades in my local area. I did not buy this sewing pattern new in the store and cannot account for its history. I do store them in protective covers inside clean plastic totes while they are in my possession.

ABOUT SIZING

Please keep in mind that sizing has changed over the years. I provide the back of the pattern package for you to review the measurements and specs. If you have trouble reading the back of the pattern package in the picture provided in this listing, please contact me and I will do my best to answer your questions based on the information that is on the package.

SHIPPING

I ship within 48 hours of your purchase. Use coupon code FREESHIP in my store for free shipping on orders of three or more items. Items must be purchased at the same time for the code to be valid.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SPECIAL?

It may be in my inventory, waiting its turn to be listed! I post new items as quickly as I can, but I still have thousands to list. I am always happy to check my inventory for the item you need.
For example, I have a great deal of late 70’s/early 80’s patterns because I was lucky enough to purchase the entire inventory of a local sewing shop that closed in 1983. The owner put the inventory in storage and there it sat until I was lucky enough to purchase it. So, if you are looking for a McCall’s or Simplicity pattern from that era, please contact me.

I also have a great selection of western wear from a local Fort Worth pattern company (Authentic Patterns, Inc.) that is amazing! Looking for authentic vintage western wear patterns? Again, just contact me! I have many sizes and styles from this company. You can also see the listed western items by choosing the Western category on my website.

PRODUCT CONDITION

If I list a pattern as “uncut” that means I opened the envelope and saw that the pattern and instructions appeared to be folded by the manufacturer or kept intact. I do not pull them apart to check each piece, especially with the older patterns. If you open your pattern and find that it is cut or any piece is missing, please contact me. It will have been an innocent mistake and I will make it right.
