What is hand-stamping?

Each letter and symbol are created by pounding a steel stamp with a hammer. Letters may vary in depth and alignment.

Will my cuff bracelet tarnish?

No, aluminum jewelry will not tarnish. It may become dull, but it can easily be washed with mild soap and water. A magic eraser works great. I have thoroughly tested the steel pieces and did not experience any tarnishing. I cleaned with soap and water and a jewelry cloth.

How do I care for my cuff?

They are made of 14 gauge aluminum and will not tarnish. You can wear them in the water. Frankly, I never take mine off. However, over time if worn in the water, the letter enamel will wear away. You can refill letters with a fine Sharpie. Do not attempt to open and close the cuff for easier on and off, or shape then reshape, for it will create weak spots and the bracelet could break.

How do I care for my necklace?

Chains are made of 316L stainless steel 1.5mm cable chain, and are very strong. If chain becomes dull, mild soap and water, toothpaste, baking soda paste, jewelry cleaning cloth, or jewelry cleaner will shine it up. A necklace with simple aluminum bar or aluminum round will not tarnish, so you can wear in the water. If necklace has a metal alloy charm attached, I recommend you remove necklace before showering because the charm will eventually tarnish. Coating the charms with a couple layers of clear nail polish will help protect them from the elements.

How do I care for my twisted bangle bracelet?

The bracelet base is made of pure hardened aluminum and will not tarnish. The stamped aluminum pendants attached also will not tarnish. Any metal alloy charms attached to the bracelet may tarnish over time if exposed to water, perfume, body lotions, etc. Therefore, bracelets will perform best if you keep them away from these elements.

My letter coloring has worn away. What do I do?

Over time if stamped pieces are exposed to water, the black enamel may wear away. You can use a fine Sharpie marker to recolor. Any excess color can be removed with rubbing alcohol.
