This stunning piece of classic design by Danish- American designer Jens Risom is hard to find, particularly with the original caning still intact.

The stunning American Walnut has been refinished with Osmo Hardwax-oil which has very low V.O.C.s

A new pad has been reupholstered in Abraham Moon Wool from the Melton II Earth range. The colour is Fire, which was reminiscent of the original orange fabric it was upholstered in.

Nicknamed the Playboy chair after a shoot featuring a number of Modernist designers and their chairs appeared in the magazine.

This chair is date stamped 1958 so it is celebrating it's 60th birthday this year, and has never looked better.

Jens Risom died in 2016 at the grand old age of 100, one of the last of the Danish Modernist designers.

A beautiful and comfortable addition to any home and a chance to own a rare piece of Modernist history.
