A starched cotton sunbonnet was a basic staple of any girl's wardrobe during the mid-1800's in frontier America.

These sunbonnets have an interfaced brim. The back neck ruffle is gathered in place with elastic. The ties are left long enough for young fingers to be able to tie a bow.

This listing is for a single sunbonnet in white or blue chambray.

I offer several other options for mid-1800 styles in the "Historical 1854, 1864" section of my shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/terristouch?section_id=5506837

Please note the following:
1. Although I made this outfit to fit 18” dolls such as those sold by American Girl, Gotz, Our Generation or Springfield Collection I am not affiliated with those companies.
2. My home is pet free and smoke free.
3. The doll, dresses, hair ribbons, doll stands and shoes in the photos are for display purposes only and are not for sale.
4. I ship everything in boxes and use only Priority Mail.
