Published by Jonathan Cape, London, 1982, 8vo. This lovely copy of the children’s classic by Roald Dahl is in Very Good condition. Tightly bound in it’s original grey boards, with gilt lettering to the spine. There is some very slight bumping to the corners and spine ends, and a small mark by the top corner of the back board, but apart from this the boards are clean and free from damage. Inside, there is some age spotting to the inside of the boards and on the free endpapers. The rest of the pages have a fair amount of toning but are otherwise clean and free from marks or damage.
The dust jacket is in Very Good + condition. there is some slight bumping, corresponding to that of the book, and some mild spotting to the flaps. There is also some slight rubbing and a mark to the rear top edge. Apart from these minor issues, it is bright, unclipped and in very nice condition indeed.
In all, this is a lovely First edition copy of this beloved children’s classic in very collectible condition for a very reasonable price. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like any further information on this book.
