Description

Title: What It Was Supposed TO Look Like
Series: Something Like Home

Over the past year, much of my work has sought to understand the ways in which “home,” is contingent upon things that are always changing: time, place, perspective, nostalgia, memory etc. I like to think that because “home,” is somewhat rooted in place, all of these works take the form of landscape. In this way, they have helped me to make sense of all the parts that make up the wholes that make up the spaces we occupy (or perhaps no longer occupy). This process has meant exploring re-thinking all the important colors, lines, patterns, and textures (and their moments) that I come across in my surroundings.

Size: 8" x 10"
Surface: Wood Panel
Materials: Acrylic Paint, Ink, Embroidery Floss, Wood Glue, Pencil
