Antique brass (copper/zinc) artillery shell base made by Karlsruhe Patronenfabrik in Germany, dated 1912. Basically during WW1. Size is approx. 9" tall x 8.5" diameter (218mm). Weight is over 12 lbs. unboxed. The exterior has a heavy patina with scratches, and there are a few dents in the base top rim. All the markings on the base are very hard to read and do not photograph. Additional marks include a Crown, a number 2, Ke4, and OKt. Unknown for sure if this case was fired as the indent in the primer/detonator is not very large as one would expect for field artillery.

Shipping quoted is to the far upper West Coast, USA. If you live closer, convo first with your zip code for a shipping cost adjustment.
