Description

This listing is for a porcelain doll by doll artist Betty Bailey. She is approximately 11" tall. Her name is Allie May. Her hang tag says she is a "child of the 1940's." The hang tag also says she is a Betty Bailey Original doll. The artist's address is inside the hang tag. Her head and shoulders, hands, and legs are porcelain. Her torso, arms, and upper legs are cloth with wires inside for posing. She is holding a bird cage with a tiny, toy bird inside. Her hair is glued to her head. The back of her neck is engraved with "Betty Bailey" and "copyright 1987." She is marked as being 3 of 45 made. She is in excellent condition and her head is still firmly attached. She has no box, but she comes with a stand. She has been on display in a smoke free home.
