This bottle neck vase is part of my first practice series, "Form." The idea behind the series was to expand my throwing abilities through the practice of new forms, along with experimenting with color to match the glaze to the piece. All of the pieces in this series are hand thrown with beautiful raw black clay, and each of them is glazed differently. Slip is also added immediately after throwing to add a unique texture that you won't want to stop touching. I had a lot of fun making this series, and am very excited with the results!

Vase #10 is 6" tall with a 3/4" opening. The neck is glazed and begins to drip down the side. The glaze is a metallic grey that drips into a vibrant red (see Picture 3&4). It is perfect for holding a few flowers or for home decor.

As always, it was hand thrown on my wheel, glazed with food safe glazes, and fired to a high temperature in my electric kiln. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Every piece is unique, and no two are exactly the same.

All my products are food safe.
I always recommend hand washing any handmade ceramic ware but my work is dishwasher (top rack recommended) and microwave safe.
I do not recommend putting them in the oven.
As with anything ceramic, handle with care.
Items are sent in a few layers of bubble wrap in a cardboard box. Any larger or hard to ship items will be foam packaged in a cardboard box.

Please reuse or recycle all packaging material!

Glazes are 3-dimensional, meaning they are multiple, semi transparent layers of color and therefore look different in different lights which may be why colors in the pictures can seem different than they do in person. However, I do my best to take product pictures that show the colors as best as possible.
