Reclaimed wood console table with lower shelf made from authentic, hand-hewn, salvaged wood from barns and cabins in the upper Midwest. This versatile piece works as an entryway table, wine server, sofa table, sideboard or coffee table. Custom made to your specifications including length, width, height, finish and shelf placement.

HOW TO ORDER
1) Choose your table top size from the drop down menu. Keep in mind that the width measurement refers to the overall width of the board. With these natural, tapered edge boards, the usable surface width is generally 1" -2" less.

2) Choose your wood finish from the drop down menu. I mix my own dyes and I am happy to custom mix a shade to work with your own furnishings, floors, woodwork etc... Please inquire if interested.

3) Our standard height is 30" tall, dining room table height. However, anything from coffee table height to bar height is an option. Just make a note of your custom height in the personalization section of your order. There is an extra charge for tables taller than 36". Please inquire if interested.

4) The standard shelf height is 12" from the floor however, the shelf can be positioned at about any point. Make a note in the order section if you would like a different shelf height.

5) I want your table to be the perfect fit for your home. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or special considerations before ordering.

Our hand-hewn tables add an elegant rustic character to your living room or hallway. Can you feel the history, the effort, that went into making each cut as you run your hand over the oiled surface of the table? The perfect combination of modern style and organic subtle touch. A great way to display and serve in your home.

PIPE LEGS
The bottom of all the pipe legs has a cap that will allow you to adjust individual leg length to accommodate uneven floors. The leg standard color is a finish called dark bronze. Black is also available. Make a note when ordering if you would like black legs.

WOOD FINISHES
We use a very tough, low VOC, non toxic Enduro-Var that binds the wood fibers. I mix my own dyes to tint the wood. The standard finish depicted in the primary photo is called vintage maple, which plays beautifully with the natural variations of the wood. Other shades are also available and I am happy to custom mix a shade to work with your own furnishings, floors, woodwork etc... Please inquire if interested.

SHIPPING
This table will ship disassembled via FedEx for a flat $76. Hardware is included and holes are pre-drilled. Assembly is simple with a Phillips screwdriver.

HISTORY OF OUR WOOD
This lumber is trimmed from massive hand-hewn beams salvaged from old barns in Wisconsin and Iowa. Amish crews disassemble the barns and salvage as much as they can. Most of these barns were in use for over 100 years before being obsolesced by modern farming practices. They saw farming change from horse power to diesel power. As the culture changed so too do the buildings that support it. This wood was cut from old growth trees in the 19th century by hand saw and ax then shaped by hand with adzes and muscles. I try to present as much of that old effort as I can. The wood in these boards must be as old as this country.

We have smoothed and flattened the top surface so you can set glasses on it. Each piece IS DIFFERENT and has its own story and history. Like all reclaimed, upcycled, repurposed and recycled products there are flaws and nicks, axe marks and knotholes. It's not Ikea.

Shipping policies

We almost always ship Fed Ex Domestically in the US, Out of the country each order is a different story. International shipping is a little trickier, PLEASE Click the "Ask a Question" box FOR A REAL SHIPPING QUOTE INTERNATIONALLY. If you are outside the continental US, email and we will work something out.

We do not have any accommodations for Non-US light sockets or plugs.

Shipping big stuff
If we can use one of the above carriers we will. However some things are just too big and need to go freight. In that case we will make a crate for it and ship with a freight company that is familiar with your area. We will need your phone number so they can call you to arrange the delivery. Unless you have a forklift handy, plan on having help to get it off the truck and in the house. It is the rare truck driver who will be able to help unload past his/her tailgate.
