Description

1940s Wartime fabric rationing resulted in some creative clothing designs for women, which didn't use excess fabric and were for practical every day wear.

DuBarry #2670B Tailored blouse with pockets and long or short sleeves. Pleated gored skirt or with additional bib pattern can be made into an overall skirt.
Size 16 (34" Bust)

New York Pattern #636 Mail order pattern blouse with long or short sleeves, and a button front jumper.
Size 19 (37" Bust)

*A note about vintage patterns: Everyone knew how to sew once upon a time, so instructions were either nonexistent or pretty straightforwardly printed on the back of the envelope. Instruction sheets are not necessarily missing, just fyi. The oldies are for advanced sewers!
My advice for using antique patterns: Carefully flatten out each piece on top of new paper and trace them. Store the old pattern. Use the new one.

FAQs

YOU the Buyer are responsible for making sure your address is correct in the Etsy system. Shipping issues on your end are your responsibility to correct. Any shipments returned to us for any reason will require additional postage to send again.

Items damaged in transit are not eligible for refunds from the Pattern Jones Shop. Damages will have to be disputed with the US Post Office as we are not responsible for their handling or facilitating of your delivery.
Sizes are not all equal! Each era and pattern brand has a different size number system, so please check the measurements. ie: Just because it says 12 doesn't mean the same size as a 12 garment in a store today :)
We spent hours sorting all our patterns by ERA/DATE and TYPE. In some cases we have a pile of say, 60s little dresses so they're all together for you to choose from, just note the Pattern Company and # Number. Etsy will show us which one your ordered when we get the payment alert!
Order 3 or more patterns and get FREE Shipping within the USA! Code: 3SHIPFREEUSA Offer not valid on International Orders.
*Otherwise No Haggling Please*
We spent HOURS checking all these envelopes! Please double check your pattern upon arrival and if there is a discrepancy we need to know about it within 3 business days.
Otherwise we're going to assume you copied/used the pattern and are making a false claim. Sorry but that's how some people are, and PatternJones isn't a lending library.
Once upon a time in her other glamorous life, Pattern Jones needed to hoard all this stuff for Period Film Costume Production for TV, Film, and Broadway.
SO! Some of these patterns were indeed used and some were not. Individual listings do not state which one, but if a dead-stock (unused) item is what you want please inquire with the listing link and pattern # and we will gladly double check before purchase.
