In Roxane Cuvay's 1962 book on cave painting, she describes Lascaux Cow as such, "this beast's curious, not far from comical, appearance is due to the contrast between its large red body, delicate little legs, and thin, outstretched neck, bearing a small longish head with unrealistic, unsubstantially drawn horns." I like the artfulness of her description.

All of my original drawings are hand drawn, usually from poor quality reproductions. I have an aversion to tracing anything, preferring the mishaps in the translation occurring from my eye to brain to hand.

Print is from an original pastel drawing. This print is 11x14" and printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag archival paper using a high quality printer and inks. Each print is signed and sold unframed, ships flat in protected sleeve.

I do my best to make the on-screen image accurate to the actual prints, but please be aware that variations in computer monitors will mean that I cannot guarantee ultimate color accuracy.

Fine art prints ship via USPS First Class Mail.
