NēNē’s are creatures from a faraway land. They come in all different shapes and colors…each one is unique and special. They have lots of character and are great for cuddling. Adopt a NēNē today!

This is Rory. He's just as sweet as a gumdrop. He's a little martian from the planet Caldor (no, not the old department store, but there is sort of has an uncanny resemblance). He's very shy and sensitive, and is looking for someone who will honor that and treat him with gentile kindness. He is very silly and playful, and has the cutest little giggle. He loves to snuggle and share his innermost thoughts and feelings with the ones he loves. He feels safe knowing he has someone he can be vulnerable and share himself with....and of course...someone to giggle with.

Rory is approximately 6 1/2" tall from tentacle to toe. He's made from new and gently used socks and gloves, stuffed with all-new polyester filling, and decorated with embroidery thread.

Rory's looking for that special someone to adopt him and make him part of their family. He does not have small pieces, and may be safe for young children. Adult supervision is always recommended.

All NēNē’s come with their very own adoption certificate!

----

Since all NēNē’s are handcrafted, it's important for the new family to understand that rough play could result in minor injuries to your NēNē. All NēNē's are made in a smoke-free environment. Spot-cleaning only is recommended.

NēNē's are named after our friend, Neil Hajjar, who lives with a very rare genetic disorder called MECP2 Duplication Syndrome. Neil overcomes so many obstacles, and with your help, we hope to find a cure for everyone with this disorder! A portion of the proceeds go towards research for MECP2 Duplication Syndrome. For more information, please visit www.rsrt.org.

Each NēNē is created with love, care and patience. Most of them are primarily hand-stitched, which can be very time consuming, but much worth the effort. One NēNē takes an average of 4-5 hours to make. As each stitch and detail are added, the NēNē starts to magically come to life, and starts to speak to us, telling us their name and a little about their life's story. It's a wonderfully whimsical experience, as each NēNē is "born" right before our own eyes! It's a labor of love, and very gratifying knowing these special creatures will go to a loving home.
