Vintage and Designer Silk Fabric care:

Professional cleaning is recommended or spot cleaning. Dry cleaning would be at your own risk - this is not say that I have dry cleaned vintage kimono silk successfully.

As silks can be affected by sunlight, I recommend that they are positioned away from direct sunlight and heat to protect them from fading and premature wear and aging.

Feather filled pads:

Pad filling is 100% duck feather and will flatten with use. It is easily restored with regular plumping.
Vintage and Designer Cushions:

All cushions are individually wrapped in tissue and tied with a ribbon, before being placed in a protective cover, and then placed in a shipping box or postal envelope, within a light pillow wrapping, with safety padding. There is a compliment slip attached with a personalised note of thanks to the buyer.

If you are perhaps buying as a present for someone else, and you wish any changes to the presentation, or requiring the invoice to be omitted, please let me know and I will happily arrange this for you.

Please be aware, that in the case of items shipped out of the UK, by law I have to attach a customs form to the parcel which will show the value of the contents.
Shipping both cushion and pad outside the UK is expensive because of the way the parcel is charged. To keep costs as low as possible, whilst still covering for the value of the contents and loss, in the case of my larger cushions in particular, shipping with the pads outside of the UK is very costly, and if the buyer would prefer to source a pad in their own country, enabling postage costs to be reduced, I am happy to post the cushion cover alone. Cushion pad sizings will be notified to the buyer for each item.

Should you wish to purchase more than one cushion in a sale, to reduce your postage costs, I am happy to post the cushion covers alone. These could then all be posted in one box or postal envelope and covered by one postage cost.
