This 6 ¾” x 4 ¾” monoprint, by Bill Ritchie, was printed with the Intaglio printmaking method. He used the aquatint technique to produce a black image printed over a pale red lined triangle and ship. It was printed on cream-colored Arches Cover paper and is signed in the lower center. It is in a display 10" x 8" frame suitable for hanging.

Bill Ritchie’s comments are printed on the back label, “From September 6 to the 15th, 2008, I was artist-in-residence at Baker University to give printmaking talks and demonstrations. The images were from the imaginary place, Emeralda, focused on the island of ArtsPort - home of cyber navigators” (summarized).
