This is Japanese anrique silk beni-itjime katazome komon fabric yosegire patched kimono edo era(1800-1867).

This is patchwork of yosegire-kimono, fabric of the Edo period.
It is Indigo dye silk edo-komon katazome (stencil-dye small pattern) of Flying crane and butterfly pattern and Cherry blossoms and maple patterns.
The calm green silk is a pattern of a chestnut.

All the dyes are vegetable such as indigo, beni (safflower dye) etc. In excellent condition.

It also collect and display museums as art objects of folk art. It is an item like that. Chestnut patterns are very attractive and priceless. Tempered yarn is old hemp, the lining is also old red silk. Very well kept condition, it is a wonderful condition. It has some thin dirt and small holes. But that is not outstanding. It does not get in the way, and overall it is in very good condition. Add it to the antique kimono collection and decorate it in the room. And we also recommend it for materials such as patchwork.
