Description

This lightweight wooden keychain was decorated by hand with wood burning or pyrography. The hand lettering shows the words “Let’s Get Lost” as well as a pretty illustration of pine trees under a sunny sky. The wood slice measures approx. 1 3/4” x 1 5/8” and measures about 3 3/4” with the attached ring. The wood slice is attached with a chocolate brown waxed cotton cord to a durable nickel metal ring.

You can also add a 3.5” x 5” burlap gift bag to save you time in gift wrapping and present an attractive gift (see the gift bag in the pictures).

This wood burned keychain would make a wonderful gift for your outdoorsy friend or anyone who loves to spend time in the great outdoors hiking, foraging, scouting, mountain climbing… Also perfect as a housewarming gift for new cabin owners!

My artwork first starts out as an idea or illustration sketched out with pencil on paper. The design is then permanently burned onto the wood with a pyrography or woodburning tool. Finally, the artwork is varnished to protect the design and wood. My designs are simple and minimalist. Since each piece is handmade, each one is unique and one-of-a-kind. Creating this handmade piece of art has been a labor of love and I hope that shines through!

What makes this wood burned artwork special?
This wooden keychain was not factory made but artist designed and created from wood gathered by our family. No tree was cut down to create this keychain! The wood slice was cut from a branch that had fallen down. Our family cares about the environment.

Please note: Since this artwork is made out of natural materials, some irregularities can occur (such as in the wood grain, texture, shape, etc.) Also, please take care not to expose your artwork to water.

My story:
I was born in the Netherlands but have lived in the Pacific Northwest for many years. While I love my flat birth country, I have come to greatly appreciate living close to these majestic mountains which inspire me and keep me humble. I get beyond excited about seeing wildlife and yes, my family takes pictures of squirrels when they come visit me from abroad.

All of my designs and illustrations are copyrighted to me and copyrights are not transferable with sale. Because of the variation of computer monitors, colors may look slightly different.

I welcome custom orders so please ask me if you have a special gift in mind! I do appreciate adequate production time as I tend to be a perfectionist and want to make sure you are happy with the gift!

Thank you so much!

P.S. You can also find me at www.presentsoflove.com where I feature some of my customizable gifts, items that can be personalized and blog about being a mom and artist. My artwork celebrates the simple joys of life.

I intentionally use foraged wood or driftwood, found in the Pacific Northwest, for most of my handmade items. No trees are cut down for these pieces of art! In addition, this wood provides so much more character than factory produced wood!
