This wonderful vintage real photo postcard shows a small boat with a sailor hanging off the back of it. The boat's driver is wearing a suit, tie, and captain's hat. Faintly, in the background, you can see the city skyline (New York, I believe). This is such a great action photo with wonderful details. You can see the wake behind the boat, the widow's peak in the sailor's hair, and more people sitting inside the boat's cabin.

Real photo postcards became available in about 1900 and were actual photographs taken with a camera and then printed directly onto postcard-sized paper. They were limited edition and thus valuable to collectors. This postcard is on AZO paper, with the stamp box showing four squares in the corners, dating it between 1926 and the 1940s. The back is divided and unused.

This card is in very good condition with minimal corner wear. There's a small stain in the bottom left corner on the front (visible also on the back).
