Once an item has been selected, please send us your zip code and we will get a shipping quote out to you. (usually within 24 Hours during the week, maybe a little longer on the weekend)

Once you’ve received the quote and are happy with the price, please check all the terms and conditions of the purchase, if you need more images or info please let us know.

Now you feel comfortable with everything about the item, place your bid.

Once the item is sold you must pay for the item and then we will start the shipping process.

The shippers quote has already been sent to you so now you must fill out your delivery address and contact details. We will handle the shipper for pick up and make sure your item is safely on the way. The shipper may take some time before picking your item up as they have different routes for different parts of the US. Usually we see a 5- 10 day pickup time from our facility.

Once the item is picked up we will mark the item as shipped and then also add the tracking number, the tracking number you have for the shipper will be the only way to monitor where the item is in the process.

Item is delivered and must be inspected carefully for any damage, if in the rare circumstance the item is damaged the shipping company must be notified so they can rectify that damage.

We also have to disclose that the studio Images are also sometimes different in color or shade, it’s just the way the photo comes out, each piece looks different in different light.

Mod Century Vintage will help facilitate this process if necessary. Compensation must be sought from the carrier and/or insurance provider. Mod Century Vintage does not issue refunds for items damaged during shipping. Shipping refunds are at the discretion of the carrier, as per their respective policies. Shipping fees will not be refunded by Mod Century Vintage under any circumstances. Customers are free to arrange their own shipping. If arranging your own shipment, be sure that your carrier will provide packing services and insurance. Contact us if you have special shipping needs- we are here to help.

Damage Claims
When your shipment arrives please inspect it at the time of arrival. Look for visible signs of damage on the exterior of the package. Photograph any external damage BEFORE opening the package. Freight deliveries: Notify the driver(s) of damage, please add any damage on the bill of lading paper work before signing and accepting the shipment. Items must be accepted in order to start the insurance claim process. Do not refuse shipments. If shipment is refused buyer is responsible for original AND return shipping fees. Initiate your damage claim within the first 24 hours of receiving the item. Contact the carrier directly to report the claim. If you have questions, contact us, we will guide you through the process. It is absolutely imperative that you follow all instructions specified by the shipping carrier and/or insurance carrier. Keep all original packing material AND merchandise. Do not dispose of the packing material or merchandise until your claim in settled. Submit all necessary documents and photos required. Do this in a timely manner. The sooner you get your documentation in, the faster your claim is processed and settled. Call or e-mail us if you are having any difficulty with the claim. We will help provide any support or documentation you may need.
Transit times
Freight shipping takes anywhere from 2-8 weeks (Average) to arrive. (There maybe circumstances where this is extended like Holidays or bad weather etc.)Faster shipping may be available but at a greater cost. If your item is on one of our international containers there will be an added timeframe which will be disclosed to you on the listing, these extra shipping times may be extended for 6-8 extra weeks over the standard shipping time- Please contact us for more details. Unless specified most carriers bring the item “curbside” This means the carrier will deliver the item to your address, but will not carry the item inside or up to higher floor on elevators or stairs, if you need this service please let us know in advance and we can make sure it’s requested.
