An absolutely stunning dream of chiffon and glass beads. The absinthe green color is even and true. The silk chiffon has a crepe light texture, and is incredible light and airy. The skirt is a multi-layered faux wrap style with a fluttering handkerchief hem. The outermost layer of chiffon is trimmed with a triple row of bugle beads. The bodice is heavy with the amazing weight that only true glass beads have. It is covered front and back with clear and dark centered beads in heavy a nautilus pattern. An extra trim of beads was added in the era, from the top of each shoulder to under the arm. This is white and silver with a very fine silk mesh backing. A small modesty piece was also added at the back.

Meant to be worn straight - best fits an XS/S
Bust: 35"
Waist: 32"
Hips: 38"
Length: 53" (to longest point)

This dress is in very good condition. On the added beads, there is a bread to the netted backing at the top of the left shoulder, and the beaded sections should be re-secured to the dress. There are no missing beads on the front of the dress. There are two spiral strands missing from one of the nautilus whorls at the upper right of the back. The dress is delicate, of course, but still sturdy enough to be worn. A stunner for a collection, holiday event or wedding. One of a kind, and truly delightful.
