Long-leaf pine needle crafting dates back to Seminole Indian culture from the Florida Everglades and the Coushatta Indians from Alabama.

I make my baskets using the old coiling method, binding the bundles of pine needles with strong thread, integrating sliced black walnut shells and other decorations, then shellacking finished baskets for luster and durability.
My baskets and pine needle sculptures won many blue ribbons and prizes in prestigious art shows.

This pine needle basket has a second little basket on its top. You can keep in it your jewelry or other sake-keep.
This basket has dangling two tiger-eye beads(on two loops) and one sliced walnut piece(at the bottom). I designed the shape of the basket, so it is really unique!

Dimensions:total height is 6"
diameter at the bottom is 6 1/2"
width with loops at its widest is 9" by 7 1/2"
"little basket on top" is high 1 1/2 "

Each basket comes with description tag and a signature.
diameter 2"

This basket can be washed in cold water, but I don't think it would collect any dust because you will use it all the time!
This basket with a jewelry holder is one of my top sellers at arts and crafts festivals.
