I am offering the 1973 British Elizabeth II fifty pence (50p) cupro-nickel coin.
Commemorates the UK's accession to the European Economic Community.
Obverse: Machin head, inscription ELIZABETH II D G REG F D, starting to the right of the head, no date.
Reverse: Nine clasped hands (one of which is said to be Queen Elizabeth II's hand. Hand is at 2 to 3 O'clock position and clearly feminine), 1973 50 PENCE in the centre.
Edge: plain.
Size: 30 mm in diameter.
Weight: 13.5 grams.
