This set of Agricola clay building resources, designed for the board game Agricola, comes with 33 logs, 33 clay bricks, 18 stones, and 15 reed bundles, which is the original number contained in the game.

The reed bundles are approximately 1" (2.5cm) long, the logs approximately 3/4" (2cm) long, and the stone and reed approximately .5" (1.5cm) wide.

So, just imagine with me for a second that you're a farmer in 19th century Europe. Life is hard! You've got to find food, keep animals, and build more rooms onto your hut once you plan to start having children!

First, you'll need some wood -- conveniently all the wood you've found and cut is looking healthy and each piece has an opportune branch to keep it from rolling out of your cart. Now you can build more rooms, stables, and fences for your animals!

Perhaps you'd like to build and oven or improve your house! You'll need clay. You were able to find some local clay fields that produced lovely, deep red clay which you form into flattened blocks to carry home.

Reed, what you've been using to thatch your roof and make a few baskets, generally comes in groups of three or four, tied with a rope. They can be found in the reed thicket down south, or, if you're lucky, the Reed Collector will come for a visit.

After you've become fairly comfortable, you may wish to upgrade your clay hut to a stone house, to the envy of all your neighbors. Or perhaps it's time to build a well for your family? Each stone you've found to use is a lovely marbled gray, and of a convenient size to lift (really a remarkable country you live in!).

But don't get too comfortable, or your family may start asking you to heat your house and bring home a pony. . .

Polymer clay is a remarkably strong material and is well-suited to consistent play of board games (everything I sell in my shop has been play-tested in one version or another). Though adults don't have problem with the pieces (except maybe losing them!), they are VERY SMALL, and are not intended for children under 3. Please supervise children.
