“WASABI” is a casual kimono without a front clasp. It is a nice mix of a blouse and a cardigan. There are two length variations. The kimono is not only suitable for the summer. It can also be made up in wool, velvet or sweater fabrics for a winter look – a cardigan with a difference. Other features include the seam pockets in the separating seam, the shawl collar and the style lines on the sleeve.

This ebook contains a multi-size pattern in PDF form and A4 paper size to print and tape at home. Alternatively, you also receive the pattern in A0 paper size and print it in a copy shop.

The pattern comes with detailed, illustrated sewing instructions. Tips on fitting the pattern are included.

The pattern is suitable for knowledgeable beginners and intermediate sewers.

To ensure a better overview on the pattern, each pattern sheet contains only 5 sizes.
PDF 1 : size 32/34/36/38/40 and 38/40/42/44/46 in A0 paper size
PDF 2 : size 32/34/36/38/40 and 38/40/42/44/46 in A4 paper size
Be careful when printing which pages you need and set the printer accordingly.

Both woven and jersey fabrics are suitable for this pattern.

Fabric yardage 1,40 m fabric width for a short kimono:
size 32 – 44 = 220 cm
size 46 = 270 cm

The longer kimono requires an additional 50 cm fabric.

Take your measurements and use the measurement chart to determine your anniway pattern size. You can find the measurement chart on each product page below the pictures or here: http://anniway-schnittmuster.de/schnittmuster/masstabelle/

The chart is a body measurement chart. It does determine your clothing size! Use your chest circumference to determine the pattern size for tops (jackets, blouses, etc.) and your hip circumference to determine the pattern size for bottoms (skirts, pants, etc.).

There is a pattern printout overview included in the sewing instructions. This is your plan for number of pages (tiles) required and for the order in which the pages (tiles) are to be assembled.
Each page has a frame with a page number (A01,A02 etc.)

Tape the pages together matching at the frames. Take care that the cutting and pattern lines match across pages (tiles). Use the pattern printout overview as your guide.

I love this kimono pattern! It was a little bit difficult to put it together (since I could only print US letter size, which is slightly different than A4) but it ended up working out fine.
