Standing at the water's edge there are treasures waiting to be discovered.

Soft warm sands,
Fresh cool breezes,
Rare and glorious color,
Rhythmic music from endless waves,
Dazzling sunlit sparkles,
Magic moonlit reflections

Treasures are to share.

I made this pendant from stones I found along the shores of Lake Michigan. My husband, Steve, drilled holes in them for me.

The pendant is made of 3 beach stones. I love the wonderful flat black stone that is the focal point of this necklace. The pendant about 2.25 inches long from the top of the bamboo tube to the bottom of the dangling beach stone.

The black cotton cord is adjustable. Just slide the tube to the desired length after you slip the necklace over your head.

These stones are millions of years old. What forces of nature formed them? How far did they travel to arrive at the water's edge at my feet? Where did they come from?

What a powerful personal talisman!
