I used this pattern to make a weighted doorstop. I enlarged it to 200% and it scaled up perfectly. I used aquarium rocks to weight it at the bottom. I will definitely make more

Very detailed, easy to follow instructions. I modified a bit by tacking wings in place rather than using the hot glue gun. I also placed the hanging loop so the insects would hang face down from a baby gym. I put the loop through the bodies so it could be easily removed as baby grows and they become small stuffed bugs. Used 100% wool felt and cotton stuffing from www.purlsoho.com. I wasn’t thrilled with the butterfly pattern so modified it by using the wing filler piece as an accent. Very happy with the result.
