Tenugui is a traditional cotton towel which is used for centuries in Japan. It’s 100 % cotton, carefully hand dyed, colorful and soft on your skin. Both edges are frayed a bit after you wash, but it is part of the beauty of tenugui. size: 37cm x 98cm (14.5” x 38.5”).

Tenugui is found as a bandana in the rice fields, a hand towel in the kitchen, headscarf for fashion, and they are often seen on walls as pieces of art. This design is the twelve animals of the Japanese zodiac.
I am pleased to offer a beautiful selection of fine hand dyed tenugui from Japan.

This is a ready to go gift package: 1-tenugui, 1-handmade card & envelope. You can mail it to your friends as a gift.
note: card design/color might be different from the picture.
