Description

*** Listing is for 2 Bars ***

This hand and body soap is inspired by my work making leather from animal pelts... admittedly it's a whole lot cleaner! Made with our classic lard soap recipe and added salt for fluffy lather and bar hardness, the fragrance smells just like well-oiled, clean leather.

Who might love this soap? Anyone who doesn't outright dislike the smell of leather, for starters! Not to mention... Lovers of old well-used leather bags, horse people who know the scent of good clean tack, and definitely anyone who's ever made buckskin or tanned a hide - this bar's a bit of an inside joke with salt for the curing, lard for the softening.

Average net weight: 3.5 ounces per bar
Method: Hot process
Ingredients: Rendered lard, water, lye, salt, phthalate-free fragrance

Simple, real soap. Palm and paraben free. Handmade in small batches on my little farm in chilly Minnesota. Hand-cut. Please allow for some variation in shape and appearance of bars.
