I've added a bit of Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil (that's the good kind they use in aromatherapy, not the more common 40/42 stuff) to my Australian Emu Oil because that's the way I like mine, and I think you might like it also. This is an excellent moisturizer for face or cuticles or whatever and the fancy little treatment pump bottle makes it easy to keep with you at all times. (bottles may be of various colors- amber, cobalt, green, red or clear, it's whatever I have in stock at the moment)

Fully refined is the recognized grade for emu oil which is suitable for cosmetics and soaps. This oil is usually a very pale yellow color, and is classified as odorless. It's triple refined, in a process that involves low indirect heat and a clay filtering system.

The Australian Aborigines have been using emus for centuries for everything from food to clothing to the oil, which they believe has special healing properties. Do I believe it? Well, there are some scientific studies out there, and I urge you to google around for more information, that fully support some of the less outrageous claims. For example, It has been found to speed the healing of burns and rashes. (I can personally attest to that.) Some people swear it gives them relief for wrinkles, age spots, arthritis, joint inflammation, stiff muscles, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss and even acne! Now that is an lot of properties to attribute to one oil! What has been shown is that it penetrates the outer layers of the skin and helps to deliver moisture deep down, where you really need it. It doesn't clog pores and it absorbs very quickly.

A little bit is all it takes and it's very easy to use. Rub a few drops on the skin and wait for the results. Apply every day as a facial and skin moisturizer or every hour to cuts and scrapes, it's up to you! Go ahead and try it for everything, then tell me what you think.

Nothing in this listing should be mistaken for medical advice. Seek the care of your doctor for medical problems. You might even ask him/her what they think about emu oil. My goal is to bring you the best products I can find or formulate at the most reasonable price I can manage.
