Pink and Coral Glass Pendant with Fine Silver Bezel - Cyberlily

Pink and Coral Glass Pendant sparkles with layers of dichroic glass. The irregular, roughly teardrop, shape is set into a handmade fine silver bezel and textured around the edges. Glass measures 27 x 18mm. The entire pendant measures 35x20 mm including the fine silver bezel.

All fused glass in my shop is created by me in my studio. I love the magical depth of color that can be found in glass. I try to build on this by using multiple layers of gently curving layers of color to build up each piece. I'm trying to achieve the organic patterns and textures of stone, with all the brilliance available in the modern marvel of dichroic glass.

Glass colors are selected, cut and assembled into color combinations. Most of my glass takes 2-3 trips through my kiln at temperatures over 1400 F to build up the layers needed to create the organic patterns and layered textures. The glass is then individually cut and shaped for each jewelry piece I plan to make, then those pieces are sent back through the kiln to be fire polished

A beautiful piece of glass deserves a beautiful setting. I wire wrap most of my pieces with either tarnish resistant sterling silver or 14K gold filled wire. For earrings, I also make my own french wires using the same materials. For special pieces, I use a torch to create fine silver bezel settings for special pieces.

Each piece of my jewelry is unique. Even pieces created at the same time from the same color set will have unique patterns in the glass.
