This late 50s to early 60s vintage "How to Sew" pattern from Simplicity can be used to make a lovely dress with choice of neckline and skirt style. It contains 9 pattern pieces, along with two very detailed, illustrated instruction guides to help you along. It is complete and in very good condition, although the envelope shows some edgewear and one of the instruction sheets has a 2.5" tear on the edge.

the description on the envelope reads:

Simplicity 5059
size 14/34 bust, 26waist, 36 hip, finished back length 40.25

Teens' and Juniors' One-Piece Dress with Two Skirts:
Dress has high neckline with optional round collar, set-in roll up sleeves and front button closing. Belt may be self-fabric or purchased. V.1 features a full gathered skirt with concealed front opening. V.2 has side zipper closing, slim skirt gathered at waistline and back kick pleat.
suggested fabric -- cottons and blends, seersucker, sailcloth, chambray, pique, gingham, oxford cloth, corduroy, linens, silks, synthetics and blends, shantung, silk linen, wools and blends, flannel, wool crepe.
