Description

This has to be one of the sweetest necklaces I've ever had the pleasure to create! I got a wild idea to have a few stones cut for me by an amazing lapidary artist, and she came through and then some!!! This amazing Pink Opal Egg Cabochon even has dots and zig-zags carved into it! Handmade sterling silver leaves and flower cradle the egg. Ostara is a celebration of fertility, which is often depicted with eggs and bunnies. It is a Pagan Sabbat, but most people know it as Easter. The opal is set in fancy fine silver bezel and has decorative sterling silver bead wire surrounding the stone. The backplate of the piece is 18 gauge sterling silver, and the bail is a hidden bail made from sterling silver half droplet wire. It is a delicate but powerful feminine necklace. The sterling silver cable chain is 16 inches in length and the pendant adds another 1.25 inches to the total length. My maker's mark tag in sterling hangs near the lobster closure and hoop, which are also sterling silver. The entire piece has been darkened and hand sanded/polished for a more rustic, antiqued feel. You will receive the necklace pictured.
Thank you!

~As with all handmade jewelry, my pieces are delicate and should not be worn during any type of vigorous activity. Also, please take care to remove all your handmade jewelry when swimming, bathing, washing hands, showering, playing sports, etc.

~Please take some time to familiarize yourself with my shop policies and my personal shop policies listed under my "about me" section.
