A delicate White Coral with clear crystal prism accent is captured in antique patinated solder forming the finial on this antique Sun Purple perfume bottle. It measures approximately 7-1/2 inches tall.

The coloring on this sweet, old perfume is of the palest lavender and you can see the little seed bubbles and straw marks from the primitive formation of this late 1890-1910 perfume bottle. The purple coloration is due to the manganese used in the glass making recipe from that era that would gradually take on the purple hue when exposed to sunlight. This is a completely natural occurrence and is not artificially enhanced in any way.

The antique and vintage components of my sculptures have a past life and signs of that journey are evident. These character-adding imperfections in no way affect the integrity of the structure and result in identifiably unique art work.

As with all of my stained glass, I meticulously clean, wax and polish the glass and solder to protect the metal finish
