This handmade wheel thrown goblet is made of a buff stoneware clay in my own studio. First the cup is thrown and trimmed. Then the stem is thrown on the finished cup. Then it is bisque fired. They are glazed in a rust brown glaze and the rim is dipped in white. It was fired to cone 6 in an oxidation environment.

The goblet is food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe as well. They can be used in the oven, but only if you put it in a cold oven and let warm up with the oven. This should be done with all ceramic pieces.

The goblet holds 8 ounces of your favorite libation. They are 5.5 inches high and 3.25 inches across.
