Protect all your unfinished wooden kitchen tools with a proven winner!
Board Balm Wood Protector was developed by me over the last two years as a way to improve the longevity of the cutting boards and wooden cooking tools I have been making. Unfinished wood needs to be protected from moisture to remain attractive and strong. Mineral oil alone does a fine job of keeping the wood looking good, but needs to be reapplied quite often. But blending just the right amount of beeswax and mineral oil yields a soft, easy to apply, longer lasting, and most importantly food safe way to preserve your wooden cutting boards, cooking tools and bowls. Unfinished wood loves the combination of food safe mineral oil and beeswax found in Board Balm. Unlike vegetable oils, mineral oil and beeswax never turn rancid. Board Balm is the safest, longest lasting treatment for your unfinished wood items.

Instructions for use:

Start with a clean DRY (overnight) wooden item.
Using your fingers, rub a light coat of Board Balm to the entire item, and leave it a few hours, or overnight. There should be very little left on the surface. Just wipe away whats left with a clean cloth or paper towel. This should be done at least once a month, for items used on a regular basis, or as soon as the wood begins to look dry.
For best results, never put your wooden ware in the dishwasher or soak the wood in water, hand wash and dry soon after use. Use on any unfinished wood item, not just in your kitchen!

This jar contains 4 oz. and depending or frequency of use and the size of your cutting board can last for several years.
