Description

This ring features a beautiful natural gemstone that you've probably never heard of. It's the pretty stone with the funny name, Chrome Diopside. The word chrome is referring to the chromium mineral that is present in the Diopside stone and gives it that glowing green color. Naturally green gemstones are actually quite rare. We all know about the high priced Emerald but Chrome Diopside isn't as mainstream. It was discovered in 1988 in Russia's Eastern Siberia and was closely guarded until after the fall of the Berlin wall. The color of this gems rivals the color of Emerald, Tasvorite and Demantoid Garnet but at a better price point. This sparkling stone is a 7x5mm pear cut that is .80 carats.

The Sterling Silver band is handmade. The silver may look dark or even pink in some of my pictures but these are just reflection caused by the high polish and my inability to take an amazing picture. The band is about 10mm wide near the gemstone and just over 3mm for the rest of the ring. Front and center you will find a thick circle that has been intersected by the pear shaped stone. Anchoring this circle down is a twisted wire that tools into one side the travels around the band to meet up with the other side. I don't feel like I'm doing a great job describing the band but I took lots of pictures for you and will always be happy to answer any questions. Life is too short to wear ordinary jewelry!

This ring is a size 6.75

My rings come in a lovely ring box tied with a bow. It will be beautifully packaged and will arrive by insured mail within the US. For my international customers, I use first class mail and will provide you with a custom's tracking number. International orders may be subject to extra customs fees and or duties that will be the responsibility of the buyer.
