Description

THIS LISTING IS FOR THE SWEATER KNITTING PATTERN/TUTORIAL ONLY.

I admit to being a bit of a romantic and having a weakness for adding feminine touches to my designs. This wrap style sweater knits up quickly, and a little silk bow gives it a chic, unfussy look. It could also be toned down with a plain tie or a leather cord. Either way, it looks lovely worn with a wide skirt or dress.

The sweater has been designed to fit a 16-18" doll. The finished sweater has about 10-11 inch - chest circumference.

Skill Level - Easy (Knowledge of casting on, binding off, increasing and decreasing, picking up stitches.)

MATERIALS:
The yarn is a suggestion only. You can substitute it with any other yarn in a similar weight (Fingering here).
For the green: Karin Oberg, Kalinka 2 - 55% Linen 45% Wool.
100 gr., 382 yards (300 m). - You will need about 1/2 of a skein for this project.

For the blue: I used two strands of:
Shibui Yarn Cima (70% Superbaby Alpaca 30% Fine Merino) - 50 gr., 328 yds (300 m).
and Shibui Silk Cloud (60% kid mohair, 40% silk) - 25 gr., 330 yds (300 m). You will need about 1/2 of each skein.

For the beige: The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering- 60% merino wool, 30% masham wool and 10% mohair.
100 gr., 328 yards (300 m). - You will need about 1/2 of a skein for this project.

Gauge
26-28 stch = 4 inch or 10 cm

Needles - US 1½ or 2.5mm circular and one set DPN (Double Pointed Needles)

Notions
