Description

This is a "Franciscan Oven Safe Color Seal Dinner Plate" in the Trio Pattern, Made in California by Gladding McBean & Co. [See last two photos.] This MCM ceramic plate design has stylized dandelion flowers in mid century modern colors of green, brown, gray and black. This 9 3/4" x 9 3/4" square plate with a 1" depth has been used only as a display plate, purchased new by my mother in the 50's. [The Trio pattern was made from 1954 to 1958.]This rare Franciscan plate is in mint condition with no flaws, repairs, chips or scratches.
