We cannot be responsible for changes in shipping addresses after the order was entered. We will make every attempt, but Etsy's conversation system does not link to the existing orders. The lumber we use is solid pine, sourced from an FSC certified supplier. Being a natural product each piece of wood has it's own personality. Some boards accept stain more readily than others. Some boards have more aggressive growth rings than others. Some have more knots than others. And some stain lots will vary from others. Please be aware that there will be variations from one board to another in your order and your order may differ slightly from the listing photo.

We don't "distress" our wood but rather we use rustic wood instead. It isn't fine furniture. It's designed to add warmth and have character. It is beautiful!

If your order arrives damaged, first please contact us as soon as possible and send us photos of the item(s) and box. This really helps us when making an insurance claim.

We will replace any damaged or lost parts of your order.

We may ask that you keep the box while we file an insurance claim as there may be an inspection or more evidence could be requested by the insurance company. All orders are covered with shipping insurance.

We use oil based stains. A premium furniture polish applied to condition the rustic wood occasionally with keep the wood conditioned. This will help maintain the flat matte finish as well as discourage warping of the rustic wood.

We don't apply poly to our shelves. We feel that it doesn't add to the rustic modern look. In fact, it distracts from the decor vibe. The warmth of the rustic wood is enhanced by the matte finish

Shelving arrived on time. There was plenty of hardware, which was nice! The pipes were a little dirty but it was no big deal to wipe them down. We had no trouble installing the shelves & are THRILLED with the results!!!

The bookshelf itself is gorgeous!! It's pretty wobbly though once all together. I'd suggest buying wall anchors for it. Communication was choppy. I had a tough time assembling the items (I also bought the TV console). Make sure you receive an actual pdf file in your messages. I was sent a single, grainy picture of half a page of instructions for both items. I wasn't aware until I had already assembled the pieces, that I was supposed to receive a pdf file and not the single screenshot that I actually got. I got a few replies from the seller here and there. But never received a reply back when I messaged with a screen recording I took of my etsy inbox messages and showed there was no pdf file, but just a picture. I finally just figured it out on my own but it was a headache to do so.
