Please note any detail preferences upon purchase so we can build you the perfect furniture. Smoother surfaces and less imperfections are available upon request, if you prefer less contrast for color of the wood planks, please let us know. We hand select rugged pieces of old growth reclaimed wood, and fabricate sturdy bases to create unique and quality pieces of furniture. We find beauty in the defects. The wood used is old growth reclaimed lumber that can have drastic color variances, cracks in the grain, checking, old knob and tube holes, nails and nail holes round or square, knots and imperfections throughout. Holes are plugged with Walnut dowels and imperfections are filled with black putty or epoxy. Movement in the wood may occur, which is common in reclaimed wood and does not affect the structural integrity. You will find the markings of old saws used to mill the wood on the furniture. Each piece can vary drastically in color and markings for those reasons.

Expanding on the review just submitted for all stools, photo included for the bar height stools. Love the continuity of the wood grain (again, beautiful walnut seats!), and the black metal finish. Also, all stools were exceptionally well packaged for their trip to SoCal I cannot thank this vendor enough! Highly recommended.

Due to an error in judgement and overall bad purchase, this purchase replaced 3 counter height & 2 bar height stools previously purchased. Since I had previously purchased a "C" table from this vendor, I already knew that they were truly craftsmen who did high quality work. I was not disappointed when I received all 5 stools. All were solidly constructed, symmetrical in size/height, as well as the thick (and beautiful!) walnut wood seats. Not surprising and I was definitely elated with this purchase! I had one concern about the "foot rest" on the bar stools, and the vendor was extraordinarily responsive and provided two suggested fixes. I am also happy about that. Many thanks to this vendor for their high quality items and great "customer care!"
