Description

This cloisonne egg is a beautiful sky blue with pink and white blossoms that look like dogwood or small peonies on green branches. The background is covered with small cloud shapes of flattened brass wire. The metal base material is undoubtedly brass. It is relatively heavy for its size of 3" if mounted on a traditional round wood stand (not included), while the egg itself is about 2.5" tall. It is hollow and has a tiny hole in the bottom to keep it upright while it was being created.

The condition is excellent vintage with no scratches or dings. It can be propped up by itself on a holder or stand or can be used in a collection of other cloisonne or enamel pieces. Use your imagination! It's charming!

Please check out the photos as they are major part of the description. Thanks for shopping Tandy's Trove!

If I haven't specifically listed your country, please convo me, prior to purchasing your item, and give me the mailing address you will be wanting to use, and I will calculate shipping to your destination. I will then add a new shipping cost to the profile of the listing you are purchasing. International buyers agree to accept responsibility for all duties, taxes and customs that may be incurred. Kansas purchasers will need to pay tax required for sales within the state.

Tandy's Trove typically ships USPS parcel post, first class, with a tracking number. On occasion, I will use UPS or Fed Ex. Note that no tracking is available on First Class International Mail. If you prefer Priority or Express Mail or any other service, please let me know ,and I will revise the shipping amount on the listing to reflect the new cost.

We do not routinely insure the packages, but, if requested and available, we will purchase and add insurance coverage for extremely fragile or expensive items. If your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours with photographs and details of the damage. Please keep the original packaging as damaged parcels may need to be picked up by the carrier. Damage claims must be made within 48 hours of package arrival.

I prefer to use recycled boxes in good, clean condition and recycled packing materials as well when possible to keep our shipping costs reasonable. It also fits with my philosophy of "reuse, recycle and repurpose" . We will ship in new packaging upon request, but this may require an additional charge for the purchase of the materials.
