The I GOT IT Kit is perfect for anyone whose got plenty of fabric but is looking for something fun and exciting to make with it. Yes! Make your own shoes in your style of textiles. You got it! (One pair of shoes requires 1/3 to 1/2 yard lightweight canvas, linen-cotton blend or other medium-heavy-weight fabric)

The I GOT IT kit also comes with a one-time SPOONFLOWER coupon code for 50% off the fabric needed to make shoes in any of the fabrics in their marketplace!

Choose your shoe size and I'll send you what you need for the rest. Please view the size chart in the listing for assistance picking the correct size. It's best to measure your foot from heel to toe (stand on a ruler!) and compare those measurements to the size chart. That's it!

All Espadrilles Kits are sent with love! I have hand-crafted many of the kit accessories and included my own booklet with fitting tips, a how-to for the classic reinforced toe as well as step-by-step instructions. (Please note: the photo of pre-made shoes is just for reference, this kit does not come with fabric and is a kit for you to sew your own shoes).

Great for group crafting get-togethers for anyone with fun canvas fabric they love.

I do my very best to make my kits eco-friendly including a recycled box, organic lining fabric and using fabric scraps for decorative components in an attempt to be as low-waste as possible. Even my business card is made out of old t-shirts!

Please note: You will need a sewing machine and thread to complete this project and the instructions assume you know sewing basics. This listing is for a kit you or someone else may use to make espadrille shoes, it is not sale of a completed pair of shoes.

I am over the moon about my espadrilles and the now 3 kits I have purchased from Melissa. The packaging was so intentional and lovely to open. I have NO complaints!! I’ve officially made a pair of shoes 💜💜 and I’m in love 😍

Great kit with everything I needed to make espadrilles with my own fabric. Everything was packaged together thoughtfully and I had a great time making the shoes

There were some good and not-so-good things about this kit. The kit comes with very sparse instructions, but I ended up as a beginner to sewing using a mix of the seller's tutorial online here ( and a youtube tutorial. Also, the she sole was way too big (I am a 40 and I had to stuff a sock in the the back of my foot to make it fit). I would size down 1-2 sizes. There were some good and considerate things included though, such as the finger protecting gloves for the yarn needle.

Hi Yada. I'm so sorry to hear that the project was disappointing for you! I can imagine that making shoes would be a tough project for a beginning sewer as the project does assume knowledge of basic sewing terms and isn't designed to cover those things. I'm glad you found a useful resource on-line and were able to utilize my blogpost as we discussed in private conversation. You have great perseverance and that will serve you well in your future sewing endeavors, no doubt! As I indicate in the listings, it's really important to measure your foot in order to get the best shoe sole size. The best way to do this is to place your foot on a ruler with the heel at the 0 mark and identify (in inches) how long it is to your big toe. Sizing is always tricky and this is the best method for accuracy. Wishing you all the best!
