Description

I Dream of Brooches presents this Coro floral brooch for your consideration. This pin has a gold tone leaf base, topped with two carved plastic subdued orange color carved flowers and a sweet spray of faux white seed pearls. It is signed Coro on the back in two places. Probably made in the 1940s this pin is in very good vintage condition. Hardly a trace of wear to the flowers and pearls. The metal has some wear that's only noticeable from very close up, not the naked eye. Please keep in mind the photos are similar to viewing under magnification. Fully functioning rollover clasp.

This nostalgic treasure measures about 1 1/5 x 9/10 inches (31x22mm) and won't weigh you down at approximately five grams. Darling Coro designer collectible and nice little accent for a dress, blouse, or sweater. Very tasteful piece.

CORO, based out of Providence RI, produced jewelry from about 1919 until the 1970's, and under several different names. The name Coro comes from the partner's names - COhn and ROsenberger. The Coro signature in script has been in use since around 1919. Adolph Katz selected most of the Coro designs from a pool of many designers responsible for the wonderful style of Coro jewelry. Coro, Inc., was one of the largest jewelry companies in the world.

Arrives safely packed in a gift box. Additional items in the same order ship for FREE. To browse more vintage treasures in this shop -www.etsy.com/IDreamOfBrooches.
