Strong and unusual Celtic cross, based on a historic Irish stone cross design. Drawn in sepia ink and handpainted in dark red and gold, the ring symbolizing eternity is a gold metallic paint, so the color changes in the photos, as in real life. Images of two interlaced zoomorphic birds surround the cross at the center.

For fun, the ancient medieval symbol has been painted and signed by the artist on a page from "The Two Towers" by JRR Tolkien, from the Lord of the Rings series.

The original 5x7" piece is mounted in a black single mat to 8x10", ready to pop into as simple or ornate frame as you wish. Packaged flat, shipping is $1 for first class USPS delivery.
